The Team

The Sales Team at Codecov lives and breathes our client’s tech stack. We believe listening is the only way to provide long term value to our customers. Constantly learning yourself, you also educate Codecov’s potential, free, paid and enterprise clients on the power of code coverage.

Our sales team works with a best-in-class product that solves real problems for our customers; we are integral to their deploy pipelines. Codecov sales team is dedicated to furthering personal development as well as team success.

You are responsible for engaging, vetting, and educating potential Codecov Enterprise customers, as well as negotiating and closing SMB net new logos and renewals. . When these pieces come together, you will be both generating revenue and client happiness. Through all that you see and do, you also become a product expert and are a core driver of Codecov’s success.

You Will

  • Cold outreach to l prospective customers, utilizing lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.
  • Partner with Account Executives to generate and qualify leads.
  • Have specific daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals.
  • Develop, present and implement plans for acquiring new business and traction.


  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong desire to keep learning more.
  • Critical thinker, who defaults to a client-gratification manner (empathy).
  • Able to document processes and possess an eagerness to share knowledge.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or Developer Tools, as well as CRM.

The ideal candidate either has prior closing experience (SMB / Mid-Market), or show strong potential to grow into such a role and express that eagerness by being prepared to discuss The Challenger Sale framework during the interview process.
